As we point out on Contatta’s leadership page, we believe CRM has long ceased serving the people it was created to help the most – Sales Teams.
The mission at Contatta is simple. Give sales teams a useful product that streamlines the way they work today and they will actually enjoy using.
The problem facing sales teams is that the communication paradigm has changed, but CRM has not. Back when all the popular CRM systems were designed in the late ‘90s, there were three ways sales teams predominantly communicated; by phone, face-to-face and email. Those same popular CRM systems were really designed to accommodate just two of the methods of communication, leaving out the most important one. Email.
Fast forward to today. PC sales are down this year while tablet and smartphone sales are soaring. How much? Recent reports show global smartphone use has grown from 160 million in 2008, to a projected 1.5 billion by the end of this year. Simply put, the internet and smartphones have made it easier for people to communicate in ways that weren’t possible just five short years ago. The problem is clear. Our communication paradigms have evolved dramatically since just 2008, but CRM hasn’t fundamentally changed since 1998.
That’s why we created Contatta.
Communicate, Collaborate, Close Deals, Oh My
With Contatta, we set out to build a CRM that has communication and collaboration at its foundation. This allows salespeople and sales teams to have conversations with their prospects and customers on any communication platform they want, wherever and whenever they want.
When you see Contatta for the first time you are going to experience a CRM that’s clearly designed for sales teams. A CRM that brings together all silos of communication into one system that is simple to use, yet sophisticated enough to streamline their work-life. Simple. Sophisticated. CRM.
